Benefits of Ujjwala Yojana 2.0

Registration Process for the Ujjwala 2.0?
The new Ujjwala 2.0 plan offers a simple registration process. The following are the steps for obtaining a new connection under the Ujjwala program:
- To begin, you must visit the official Ujwala Scheme website.
- As soon as you click on the link to the Ujwala scheme. The home page of the Ujjwala Scheme 2.0 will be available.
- The applicant must follow the link to a new website where he can only apply for a Ujjwala 2 Connection.
- After clicking the link, the applicant must select one of the gas connection options.
- Click this button and then click Here to apply for a relationship with the selected company. You would be given the LPG connection of your choice.
To help you understand, consider the following example. The applicant must click the Apply Here button next to HP Gas if they desire an LPG gas connection from Hindustan Petroleum Company.
Qualifications Required
- Only female applicants above the age of 18 are eligible for registration under the new Ujwala 2.0 Connection initiative.
- Additional LPG connections from gas companies are not permitted for the beneficiary applicant’s household.
Every woman will fall into one of the below-mentioned categories:
- SC
- ST
- PradhanMantri Awas Scheme-Gramin
- Most Backward Classes
- Antyodaya Anna Yojana
- Tea & Ex-Tea Garden Tribes
- Forest Dwellers
- People Residing in Islands and River Islands
- It is listed under SECC Households (AHL TIN)/Any Poor Household.
All previously filed applications will be considered under the new Ujwala 2.0 Scheme. The only condition is that the candidate meets the eligibility requirements of the Ujjwala Yojana 2.0 guidelines, which include providing the Aadhar numbers of all adults in the family and the relevant proof specified in Q (6) above.

Necessary Documents
The following documents are required to register the Ujjwala Yojana 2.0:
- To begin, the applicant must have all Know One’s Customer (KYC) documents to register the new ujwala 2.0 Connection.
- As identification and proof of address, the applicant must have a current Aadhar Card. Is it valid if the applicant dwells at the Aadhar card address? This criterion does not apply to Assamese or Meghalayan citizens.
- Following the Annexure, other State Government details certifying family composition or self-declaration, such as a Ration Card recognized by the State from whence the application is lodged | (In the case of migrant candidates)
- For the applicant to apply, each adult family member’s Aadhar card must be active.
- A bank account number and an IFSC code are also required for anything like the registration of the new Ujjwala 2.0 Connections.
- The applicant must additionally supply further KYC to check the financial position of the household.
