He was initially tormented and bullied throughout his life for not having a quirk, mostly by his childhood friend Katsuki Bakugo and many others with him. However, after meeting his hero, the No. 1 Hero, All Might, and winning his admiration with his bravery and prowess, he was granted the fabled quirk One For All, and thanks to his skills at Class 1-A and status as its ninth user, he became a hero-in-training. He is among the closest friends of Ochaco Uraraka. He is voiced in the Japanese version by Daiki Yamashita and Akeno Watanabe as a child and in the English version by Justin Briner (who also provides the voice of Luck Voltia in Black Clover) and Lara Woodhull as a child.
Characteristics
Izuku is a teenage boy with messy dark green hair and green eyes. Many people think his hair is black, but the messiness makes his hair look bad. In his black gakuran uniform with yellow buttons, he was a student at Aldera Junior High. He’s dressed in the traditional male attire at U.A., which consists of a light grey suit over a white dress shirt, dark green dress pants, and a red necktie. Izuku typically dons his recognizable red sneakers. Throughout the series, his hero costume also changes significantly, but the basic design remains mostly the same: green with highlights, a mask, white gloves, and his signature red shoes.
The costume changes and gets new additions as he develops into a hero, with the green color gradually getting darker to represent his increasing competence and maturity. By the end of the storyline, Zeta’s costume is made up of a dark green outfit with gold accents, modified Air Force gloves and Mid-Gauntlets, a red belt, blue kneepads, his old, damaged respirator, and Gran Torino’s cape, which is worn as a scarf in place of his previous All Might-like cowl.
Izuku was extremely thin at first, but after ten months of intense training with All Might, he developed toned muscles. These are shown to get more defined and developed as he gets stronger throughout the series. His emphasis on speed is aided by his highly defined and lean build, which he continues to develop throughout his first year at U.A.
Izuku gets scars all over his right arm from repeatedly going over his One for All limit. Later on, Dabi leaves him with a significant burn scar.

After training under All Might, Izuku received One For All from him and gained the capacity to control a vast reservoir of potent energy. Izuku was unable to fight properly or compete on an even playing field with his peers at the time due to the physical backlash, even though he could move faster than the eye could see and defeat a massive villain bot with a single blow. He was still incredibly strong physically, though, and his determination helped him mostly overcome One For All’s disadvantages.
Izuku’s cunning allows him to use One For All in ways that make it useful in combat even with its severe drawbacks. He also has some basic knowledge of hand-to-hand combat and can still act instinctively based on his notes. Izuku can compete head-to-head with Katsuki and Shoto, two of Class 1-A’s strongest students, by using those skills appropriately.

Izuku can escape those consequences by maintaining a One For All power output within a safe range, which is currently approximately 45%.
Magnanimous Strength: Despite not having his quirk, Izuku has demonstrated exceptional physical strength for his age. He demonstrated the ability to lift All Might, who weighs 255 kilograms (562 pounds), on his back while walking during their training. He could lift a metal slab about the size of his body and use it as a powerful weapon to split a one-point bot in half during the sports festival.
Incredible Reflexes: Izuku has incredible reflexes and speed, both with and without the Full Cowl. He can keep up with Katsuki’s movements in their first battle and respond quickly enough to defend against Shoto’s ice, which has been demonstrated to happen in the literal blink of an eye. His reflexes and speed increase to new heights when he uses Full Cowl; at 5%, he can keep up with Tenya’s Recipro Burst, which moves faster than the human eye can see; at 8%, he demonstrated that he could outpace Katsuki’s speed and easily defeated Hitoshi in battle despite Hitoshi’s improvements; at 20%, he could outpace Overhaul; and at 30%, he could match the enhanced Tomura’s speed. His hit rate was 45%, which allowed him to dodge several of Lady Nagant’s bullets and keep up with Muscular’s movements, which he had not been able to manage before.

Weaknesses
Even though One For All has incredibly amazing power and nature, it is not something that is easily handled. When Izuku used it carelessly, he would frequently cause himself serious injuries, making it extremely difficult for him to handle at first. He had to undergo months of physical training even before this to get his body ready for the Quirk.
