Guntur Kaaram is now coming out with a new OTT release on cinemas on Sakranthi. The Trivikam Srinivas’ action directorial stars Mahesh Babu and Sreeleela.
The director Trivikram Srinivas’s action film Guntur Kaaram starring Mahesh Babu and Sreleela was released in theatres near you on the 12th of January on Sankranthi. The film was released on Netflix in India less than a month after its theater debut.
Guntur Kaaram earlier clashed with HanuMan, Saindhav, and Naa Saami Ranga’s release at the box office but it managed to make a decent profit.

The film Guntur Kaaram is now all over the tweeter feed because of its OTT release. The X handle of Netflix South India wrote on Thursday the following “My brain for the next 12 hours: Sarra Sarra Soolam. Guntur Kaaram, coming to Netflix in 12 hours in Telugu, Tamil, Malayalam, Kannada, and Hindi. #GunturKaaramOnNetflix.” The X handle also shared a new trailer for the film which featured the famous and loved actor Mahesh Babu. The tweet got hit instantly and now has several hundred comments from fans left under the video being thrilled about the dubbing of the film in more than one South Indian Language as well as in Hindi. This led to the hashtag #GunturKaaramOnNetflix to trend on X.
The official announcement was made a few days ago by Netflix India on X and Instagram where they announced the release of Guntur Kaaram on the famous OTT platform on the 9th of February in Telugu, Tamil, Malayalam, Kannada, and Hindi. The film is expected to be released by midnight.

The film Guntur Kaaram is the third film of the actor Mahesh Babu and the director Trivikram together. The first two films were Athadu and Khaleja. The film Guntur Kaaram has seen mixed reviews since its release but it still did a decent b business that remained stable during the festival of Sankranthi. Naga Vamsi has claimed that the film has been doing better in the state of Andhra Pradesh than in Telangana and overseas at a press meet.
Guntur Kaaram sees Mahesh play the role of Ramana who is a rowdy from Guntur and lives away from his estranged mother who is played by the actor Ramya Krishnan. The role of his grandfather is played by Prakash Raj who is a politician in the film. When his grandfather asks Ramana to sever all his remaining ties with his mother he rebels against him to find the truth about her abandonment two decades ago. The film is a Masala entertainer marketing but has the story revolving around Ramana’s relationship with his mother only which was the main reason why fans were left confused. Other key actors to note in the film are Meenakshi Chaudhary, Jayram, Raghu Babu, and Eswari Rao. The film Guntur Kaaram has songs from Thaman S except Dum Masala, which have also received a low review.
