Anti-Valentine’s Week is a week that is celebrated by people who do not like the week of love by being the exact opposite of Valentine’s Week.
February is known to be the month of love with Valentine’s Week falling at the start of the month. However, only a few know of the opposite of Valentine’s Week whose celebration takes place for a whole week before finally reaching the 14th of February. These seven days of celebrating love before Valentine’s Day are known as Valentine’s Week and are dedicated to cherishing the feeling of being in love. In contrast, its opposite is known as the Anti-Valentine’s week.
This Valentine’s Week follows the same approach as Valentine’s Week but is made for singles who were not a part of the celebration of the week of love. These seven days after the 14th of February are known as Anti-Valentine’s Day and are for those who do not like or do not support the seven days of love which can be due to many reasons like holding a grudge from a past relationship. Each day of this week also holds significance.
15th of February- Slap Day
Anti-Valentine’s week starts on the 15th of February and marks its first day. It is known as slap day and is dedicated to people who want to express all the grudges they have towards their previous partners for the mental discomfort given to them. This day is a day to move forward and leave all the frustrations in the past.
16th of February- Kick Day
On the 16th of February falls kick day and is the second day of Anti-Valentine’s week just like slap day serves the purpose of flushing remorseful feelings against your former partner. It is a day to kick away all the negative emotions and memories you have been upholding and take a step towards freeing yourself from past burdens.
17th of February- Perfume Day
Falling on the third day of this Week perfume day is all about focusing on yourself and having a new start. After kick day and slap day which are about removing the toxicity from your life, perfume day is all about pampering oneself by gifting perfumes to yourself which gives pleasure and happiness.
18th of February- Flirt Day
On the 18th of February, this day is known as flirt day and is meant to make new and better choices in your dating life all the while forgetting past apprehensions. This day has the purpose of serving as a day to convey your feelings to others.
19th of February- Confession Day
Confession Day is the fifth day of this week and gives you a chance to confess your feelings to your someone special.
20th of February- Missing Day
On the sixth day of this week, you can also celebrate the feeling of missing someone.
21st of February- Breakup Day
The last day is to get out of a toxic relationship and choose freedom.
