Purpose Of Shibuya Incident In Jjk Season 2
Before Fake Geto could do anything, he needed to get rid of Gojo Satoru because he was the biggest problem for any cursed spirit or curse user who wanted to upset the current situation. Gojo kept his true form hidden from his powerful sorcerer friend for a long time and used his influence to control the Cursed Spirits’ actions. He did this so he could be sealed in the Prison Realm. The goal of the Shibuya Incident was to make Gojo use up all his energy, so he could be caught off guard and trapped by a shadow of his best friend.
Fake Geto wanted to make Jujutsu society’s sorcerers weaker and also wanted to become stronger himself. He could use the Cursed Spirit Manipulation Technique to add Disaster Curses to his abilities because of his inheritance from Geto. However, because of the rules for Geto’s technique, he had to first defeat the Special Grade Cursed Spirits by himself.
To avoid this, Fake Geto placed bets on the Shibuya Incident which made all of them weaker. This made it easy for him to absorb them without any trouble. Sadly, the plan succeeded too much and Jogo, Hanami, and Dagon got exorcised. Fake Geto only absorbed Mahito, who turned out to be exactly what he needed to start his plan.
Major Jjk season 2 Point Revealed!
Jjk season 2 ended on December 28, and fans were excited about it. The last episode revealed a lot of new information and is leading up to an exciting third season with the Culling Game storyline.
Post-Shibuya Condition
Right after the events in Shibuya, Tokyo was in a very bad situation. As time passed, Shibuya continued to be destroyed and cursed spirits started to appear in other neighborhoods. Tokyo is in trouble and a powerful sorcerer named Yuta Okkotsu has come back to Japan.
If you didn’t see the Jujutsu Kaisen 0 movie, Yuta was a new student at Tokyo Jujutsu High and he joined Maki Zenin, Toge Inumaki, and Panda’s class. Yuta got hold of a really strong cursed ghost after a sad accident. At the end of Jujutsu Kaisen 0, Satoru told Yuta to go to another country and learn more about cursed techniques.
When Yuta got back to Japan, he quickly started fighting against the evil spirits that were hurting people. The leaders of Jujutsu Headquarters in jjk season 2 told Yuta to kill Yuji after they decided to put the execution order back in place. This happened after the Shibuya Incident. Yuta agrees to be the one to punish Yuji because he thinks Yuji is responsible for Toge’s serious injury in Shibuya.
Why Gojo’s Freedom Is A Harm?
Despite being a powerful fighter against evil spirits and rogue curse users, Gojo has never gotten along with the leaders of the jujutsu society in jjk season 2. Gojo made some tough decisions, like saving Yuta and Rika and stopping Itadori’s punishment, because no one was strong enough to stop him. Now that the problem has been taken care of by putting it in a special prison, the leaders are working to make sure Gojo never gets out.
Gojo’s going missing is seen as a chance to get rid of his followers in jujutsu society. Because people know he used to work with Suguru Geto, they think he helped the Fake Geto and is responsible for what happened in the Shibuya Incident. The principal of Tokyo Jujutsu High, Masamichi Yaga, has been wrongly accused of being involved in the Shibuya Incident. Also, trying to rescue Gojo from the Prison Realm is now against the law.
Expectations From Jjk Season 3
Almost right after the last episode of jjk season 2, Studio MAPPA said there will be a Season 3. It will be about the Culling Game Arc. The Culling Game arc will be about Fake Geto’s plan to make the new sorcerers and cursed spirits keep getting rid of the weak ones. Fans can look forward to more thrilling and intense fights than before, with new abilities and secrets to be revealed. Japan will be a place of conflict for powerful magic users.
Certainly, the popular character Yuta Okkotsu from Jujutsu Kaisen 0 will have a big role in the Culling Game. Yuta was in another country with Miguel practicing his magic skills during the Shibuya Incident. But now he has been called back to Japan by the jujutsu headquarters to work as their new enforcer. Now that Gojo is gone, Yuta is the only top-level sorcerer on the jujutsu headquarters team, and he’s likely the most powerful one. It looks like Itadori might have more problems in the new season because of the serious threat to kill him.
Winding Up On Hopeful Note!
In Season 3, we will probably learn more about why Yuta is doing what he’s doing and what he can do. He seems to be headed for a showdown with Yuji, who is currently running away. If fans are still not sure what’s going on, they should watch Season 3. It will probably help them understand and answer their questions. We have to wait a while for the next season of Jujutsu Kaisen, so we won’t know the answers to the questions from jjk season 2 until then.
