Born on March 26, 1993, Paige Renee Spiranac is a social media influencer, golf instructor, and former professional player from the United States. She competed in Division 1 college golf for the University of Arizona and San Diego State University, where she led the Aztecs to their first Mountain West Conference Championship in 2015 and was named an All-Mountain West Conference player in both the 2012–13 and 2013–14 seasons.
Early Life & Education
Spiranac was born in Colorado’s Wheat Ridge. Dan, her father, was a member of the University of Pittsburgh Panthers football team that won the 1976 NCAA title. Annette, her mother, was a career ballerina. With a college athletic scholarship, her older sister Lexie participated in the Stanford track team. Growing up in Monument, Colorado, Spiranac participated in gymnastics with the aspiration of competing in the Olympics. After suffering two broken kneecaps at the age of twelve, she decided to give up gymnastics and give golf a try. Her anxiety and past experiences led her parents to decide that she would receive homeschooling. Spiranac lived in Scottsdale, Arizona, and Monument, Colorado, during her adolescence.
Personal Life
From 2018 to 2022, she was wed to Steven Tinoco, an athletic trainer. They appeared supportive of one another when they first met, early in her golf career. But their divorce was finalized in private, and the reasons behind it have never been made public. Growing up in Monument, Colorado, Paige first concentrated on gymnastics until experiencing injuries that led her to switch to golf.
Her parents were very important in her development and were encouraging of her sporting aspirations. She shares a close bond with her sister, Alexis, who works in the fitness sector. When their divorce was declared in March 2022, it was done so in private and for no apparent reason. Since then, Paige has said that she is open to getting married again but would rather keep her dating life private.

Her Professional Journey
Spiranac competed in the Colorado junior golf circuit and won five events in her early career, including the 2010 CWGA Junior Stroke Play. Paige was also a member of the Future Collegians World Tour. Being a part of the club, she rose to become a first-team All-American, a two-time West Region Player of the Year, a top-5 college recruit, and a top-20 world junior player. She was awarded a University of Arizona golf scholarship.
Spiranac played golf for the University of Arizona Wildcats during her rookie season in 2011–2012. She participated in the Wildcat Invitational, Pac-12/SEC Challenge, and Windy City Intercollegiate. For her sophomore year, Spiranac transferred to San Diego State, where she had more success in the 2012–2013 campaign. When the Aztecs won their first Mountain West Conference Championship at the end of her senior year, she called it “one of the absolute happiest moments of my life.”
Spiranac made his debut in May 2016 at the Las Colinas Club in Queen Creek, Arizona, as part of the Cactus Tour’s developmental phase. Spiranac achieved her sole tour victory with a victory over Hannah O’Sullivan, the world’s top-ranked amateur at the time. Spiranac placed 17th out of 52 golfers at the Aliante Golf Club in June 2016.
She placed seventh at Walnut Creek in Mansfield, Texas, in July. She qualified for the Ladies European Tour’s Scottish Open in July as well. Spiranac finished ninth in the CoBank Colorado Women’s Open held in August/September of that year. Spiranac placed third in a three-way tie for second place at Legacy in September 2016, and she placed fifth at Trilogy in October. She won $8,010 at the end of the season.
Spiranac participated in her first LPGA Qualifying Tournament in August of 2016, but she was unable to obtain a card to play professionally. She made the joke “Notre Dame is as bad as I was playing professional golf” in 2022 when talking about Marshall football’s upset victory over Notre Dame.
