Myth no. 1- Man-made lab-grown diamonds are not real and are artificial.

Myth no. 2- The quality of one-of-a-kind diamonds is higher than the other
Reality- Some people think lab-grown diamonds have higher quality than the mined diamonds, and some think that the mined diamonds have higher quality than the lab-created diamonds. The truth is that both are similar in their composition, physical properties, chemical properties, optical, thermal, etc. There is no difference between the two. Both have a superior and similar quality. But in the case of CVD diamonds particularly, there is a lot of shine and betterment in these diamonds as these are without the nitrogen impurities and other impurities too.
Myth no. 3- Lab-grown diamonds cost less because of their poor quality
Reality – The lab-created diamonds are made by creating special conditions in the lab and with advanced technologies. As the name suggests, the mined diamonds are mined from deep inside the earth. The lab-created ones do not include the cost of mining, also, because of the hard work done by people out there, this is why man-made diamonds are cheaper than mined ones. Both these diamonds are similar.
Myth no. 4- The lab-created diamonds aren’t checked and certified.
Reality – The same organization certifies and checks the mined and lab-created diamonds. There are various companies and organizations that have the right to give a green signal to the diamonds; they only certify all types of real diamonds.
Myth no. 5- The lab-created diamonds frequently change their color over time
Reality – This is wrong the lab-made diamonds are just as natural as the naturally mined diamonds, and they neither lose their color or shape nor shine over time. They remain intact for their whole life the way how it was purchased. The diamonds are not something that takes the requirements of the customer as a burden on themselves, makers need to deliver the best as they are offering something which is of the highest demand and quality.
Myth no. 6- Lab-made diamonds harm the environment
Reality – Unlike the mined diamonds, the lab ones are not brought from under the soil hence there is no connection to the mining of the lab-created diamonds. As the name suggests, it is wholly created inside a lab without harming the environment and its resources, unlike the mined diamonds for bringing them up a huge pile of mining is done, thus depleting the fertile soil and causing other harms to the environment.
Myth no. 7- Anyone can differentiate between the lab and the mined diamonds by looking at them.
Reality – No one can tell whether the diamond stone in front of them is man-made or mined diamonds. This is just not possible to differentiate between the two with naked eyes. Special and advanced machines are required to check whether the diamonds are man-made or mined. These machines are only available with the lab diamond creators or at the shops where diamonds are sold. It is not as easy to get that machine for domestic use.
