How to change Spotify password

To change or reset your password, you’ll be using Spotify’s website on your Windows, Mac, Linux, Chromebook, iPhone, iPad, or Android phone. Spotify app itself does not provide an option to change or reset your password.

- Spotify will display a “Password Update” message confirming that your password has been successfully changed.

I Forgot my Spotify password. How can I reset it?
If you’ve forgotten your password, use Spotify’s password reset option. It sends a password reset link to your email address, which you can use to select a new password for your account.
- To get started, first open a web browser on your computer and launch the Spotify.com website. In the upper-right corner of the screen, Click on “LogIn” button.
- On the login page that opens, under the “Password” field, click “Forgot your password”.
- You will see a “Password Reset” page. Here, click on the “Email Address or Username” field and type in your Spotify username or the email address associated with your account.

- Open Inbox for your email account and search for emails from Spotify. Log in to this email and click on the “Reset Password” link.
- The link will take you to the “Reset Password” page on Spotify. On this page, click the “New Password” field and type in a new password for your account. Click on the “Reset New Password” field and retype your Spotify password.
- Confirm the captcha and click “Send”.
- You will see a “Password Updated” message on your screen confirming that your new password has been successfully applied to your account.

How to sign up with Facebook on Spotify?
If you registered with Spotify using your Facebook account and forgot your password, you will need to update your Facebook credentials to sign in.
