Preparation
The key to winning battles in Persona 3 is planning and preparation. The first thing you will need to do is get your party members to a decent level. Before attempting to level up characters, what must be done first is to properly get to know all team members. All of them should take turns to be in battle until their current Persona reaches its level cap. Increasing Social Links is also important because it enables you to create stronger Persona once you start to fuse them at an advanced level. To level up characters, start by creating a physically focused Persona but do not fuse it yet. Next, find Tartarus and select any block from level 5 onward so that experience earned can be maximized. It is important to notice the time remaining for it because the game may switch its the day or it may be Taiyou or Yami. While exploring the floor, keep an eye out for golden shadows because they provide more experience points than normal enemies. However, it is suggested not to immediately attack it if it is in a group but to try to isolate it. Once it starts to move, quickly chase it to attack before it escapes. Keep repeating the above process until the protagonist and party member reach their intended level. When using experience boosting items such as the access point from the second block has become available, feel free to use them because it also helps to minimize the time needed to level up. Golden shadows can also drop rare items so take the opportunity to defeat them. Rare items such as Omnipotent Orb or very useful weapons can be obtained for the request in the game.
Levelling up characters
Most new characters were combined at levels 6 to 8. If the character signs up with a classmate or teammates, the character will receive the predetermined experiences and come to the relatively lower levels. In most scenarios, it is difficult for players to level their characters up only by fighting with the enemies in the small battles. Rather, you should try to get your characters installed in the tarot cards and let the characters experience special activities like death, the TV world or socially linked activities. Firstly, try to merge the character with the tarot signs so that every time the fusion, the character will receive much more experience. For instance, by giving 3 levels of experience for each fusion, some of the characters were levelled up from level 6 to 12 just within a couple of fusions. Then, encourage the characters to engage in activities. By doing the activities, the characters will make accomplishments and experiences. The social link activities will give more experiences as well. For example, when the wild duck social was completed, a character with a level 8 sign-up would receive 1000 plus experience and eventually become a level 9 character. Cultivate it and sometimes, there is no need for you to control such character because it signifies your teammates and experience will also come to you automatically. Try to give priority to experience-giving activities and level up your characters through these ways.
Acquiring powerful weapons
The weapons in this game are mostly gotten by defeating the rare mini-bosses, the “Reaper” that appears in some of the floors of the last block “Abyss of Time” – except the bullets and the weapon “Mourning Sword” by defeating the optional boss in Martel’s Abyss. You can shoot the rare mini-bosses to get the “Ultimate Weapons” for some of the characters of the game. First use the auto-potion X, after you have the health for this fight all the time – this safe tactic increases the time to receive an item. This boss has many lives because he recovers the life every time, if one of your characters has the “Orpheus Telos” equips the Strength Arcana-Max to this character and so the mini-boss stops recovering his life! The Orpheus Telos is a bonus for Persona Compendium completion (sounds like an evil plan from Mitsubishi to increase the cartridge selling).
Strategy
Since there is no way to defeat the Reaper as MC, your best option is to give the Reaper to appear alone. Then attempt to get the first hit in. Once you beat the Reaper, you will receive 2336 EXP. However, this is not the only way to beat the Reaper. You have to experience many failed tactics before you can beat the Reaper. By then, you will receive 160 EXP instead. Defeating the Reaper with the second tactic will make the player be able to do better in the game as all characters will be significantly stronger and you will be able to finish the second request in Persona 3. Also, a rare Formeeda weapon will appear. Most important of all, you can get the fourth Old Document after defeating the Reaper. The first appearance from the Fifth Old Document and many casts have been obtained from Monoeyes so far. Obtaining the fourth Old Document will enable your character to create more powerful Personas and get the opportunity to enable Orpheus to fuse into a better Persona.
Understanding enemy weaknesses
First, Shadows in Persona 3 Reignited starts with two attack patterns: Physical or gun. Physical is often paired with Pierce, while guns are Strike-based. ‘Weak’ enemies like Lust Sword have weapon-specific immunities. Level up Skill Cards for expanded weaknesses. Chewing Souls refill SP even after knocking down enemies. Shadows can heal when attacked with reflected elements. Study resistances and green/yellow orbs for accuracy. Higher-level enemies have better evasion, requiring higher accuracy for critical hits. Understanding enemy weaknesses is crucial for smooth progress in the game.
Utilizing different personas
When choosing personas in the game, focus on specializing in elemental magics to conserve SP. Use personas with different magic types for various enemy types. Keep an eye on personal fusion to create new, more powerful personas. Experiment with personas to find your ideal play style and don’t hesitate to switch strategies.
Time Management
When it comes to how you manage your time during the day, the game is fairly lenient. The entire day can be broken down into several parts: the Morning, the Daytime, After School, the Evening, and Night. Time in the morning, daytime, and after-school segments will often seem to slip by within seconds; this doesn’t mean the time that passes in the game is accelerated in those segments, but that the time during which you’re given complete control of the protagonist and can freely explore has an increased speed. However, for some events, the time of day will be more advanced than usual once they finish, taking you to the end of that segment. For example, whenever you finish any social link event, time will jump from evening to night; usage of this feature can be crucial to getting everything you want. Also related to social link events it’s important to note a few of them are nighttime only and most of the game’s attributes will only increase at night as well. Therefore it’s almost always advantageous for you to decide exactly how you split up your free day time and to ensure you can manage your time as constructively as possible, implement the following steps. After school, look to start, finish and loop social link events to ensure your day times are effectively used. In the morning, try and secure a suitable compromise between studies and attribute cultivation, to ensure you don’t have to worry so much at night and can use such periods to focus on raising attributes.
