The general public is unaware, that All Might was born without quirks, which explains why his immense power is not his own. He is the eighth person to possess the Quirk, which was inherited from his mentor. Since he was a young teenager, he has possessed the power, which he has utilized to grow into the recognized Symbol of Peace that he is today. Sadly, his body has suffered greatly from a fierce battle with a formidable supervillain in the past. His determination to spread goodness and peace throughout the world is the only thing that has not wavered.

He can now only perform heroic deeds for three hours a day, after which he turns into a gaunt, skeletal man who can’t stop coughing up blood. Few employees at the U.A. are aware of this, and even fewer are aware of the full extent of his quirk. My Hero Academia tells the tale of his successor, Izuku Midoriya, as All Might trains him to master the extraordinary power he has been bestowed with.

All Might’s Characteristics

My Hero Academia Reveals the Reason All Might Won't Be Killed Off

All Might is a very tall, very muscular man who, when transformed into a hero, resembles a standard American comic book superhero. His spiky hair on top of his head and the fact that his entire body, regardless of the time of day, has more shadows than any other character in the series add to his stylized appearance. His superhero outfit is a red, white, and blue bodysuit with golden boots and gloves that resemble that of a generic American superhero. Both with and without a cape have been shown. Its design is regarded as being extremely classic overall.

He is an extremely thin man with angular features, long limbs, and a neck when in his true form. He sheds his eyebrows from his superhero form and has spiky, disheveled hair with two bangs framing the sides of his face. He has a large scar that runs the length of the left side of his chest, and when he gets excited or surprised, he frequently spits blood out of his mouth. Because of Quirk’s size change, he usually wears baggy clothes, but after his true form was revealed to the public, he began to wear more fitted clothing.
