Measuring the impact of your content marketing

Basically, mimicry is a kind of flattery, and also the reuse of your images is also a sign that your content has resonated together with your audience sufficiently that they chose your content to make add in their own.

Identify linking opportunities

When you search for an image, the search will provide you a list of similar images and sources of images. They will show you all images and their location. This provides you with an excellent opportunity to create links back to your website, where the location in question credits you for the image used. Spend a bit of your time checking through the results and ensuring credit has been given where it’s due. If not, you’re well within your rights to ask for the credit within the form of a link.

Protect your intellectual property

This is a great tool for identifying who has used your images on their website. The result pages will contain a variety of Visually similar or nearly similar pictures. The results you found might be similar but also different in some ways. This problem can arise when someone uses your exact image but puts their logo thereon to pass it off as their own. This is often an infringement of your property.

Stand out from your competitors.

There is nothing worse than paying for expensive stock images, only to seek out a couple of weeks later that your competitor has the precise same image on their website. Checking sites that already include your chosen image can assist you in avoiding this pitfall.

Context

By checking sites with the same images, you’ll identify the context during which other companies are using a similar image and avoid negative connotations.
