Art Gallery of Ontario
The Art Gallery of Ontario is an awesome museum in Toronto. Located downtown, this complex takes up over forty-five thousand square meters of space, making it one of the largest art museums in North America.
With its unique exterior and incredible collections of exhibits, you’ll fall in love with everything this museum has to offer and want to come back often so that you can see more of it every day. These exhibits do rotate, so don’t be shy about repeat visits so that you have the chance to see everything at least once.
Cute Old Oakville
Away from the noise and rush of the city, you can slip away to Old Oakville. This small town sits along Lake Ontario and is a lively part of the city of Oakville. With a quaint village feeling, this area is home to trendy bars, cute boutiques, and fun entertainment that could make anyone happy.
Although it can be time-consuming to explore this attractive area, you’ll fall in love and want to look at nearby Halton real estate within moments of arriving. It’s a perfectly charming area.
Algonquin Provincial Park
The Algonquin Provincial Park is a 130-year-old park that’s the oldest provincial park in Canada. It’s grown to over seven thousand square kilometers and is full of gorgeous lakes, rivers, and hills that are incredible year-round.
The best time to visit is in the fall when the leaves start changing color, and the air begins to crisp up a little. Although it’s close to Toronto, it’s not overly crowded by visitors, giving you the chance to enjoy the freedom and quiet as much as you’d like.
Canada’s Wonderland
This huge theme park is often thought of as Canada’s answer to Disneyland. Canada’s Wonderland is a 134-hectare theme park in Vaughn, just North of Toronto. Recently celebrating its 40th anniversary, this park has everything from rollercoasters to gravity rides, to even water rides.
Open every day from May to Labour Day weekend; your family can make the most of their summer vacation here without feeling like they broke the bank!
Toronto Zoo
If you want to see zebras and polar bears within the same grounds: this is the place to do it. This zoo is best known for its recent addition of baby pandas but is home to over 5,000 animals spread out over 500 species.
These animals are well cared for and healthy, and the zoo puts a lot of emphasis on the importance of wildlife conservation and what we can do to help ensure animals like these have safe environments to live in.
