With ticket costs ranging from ₹100 to ₹800, the movie is primarily shown in 3D and IMAX formats.

Nevertheless, Superman managed a 32.5% occupancy rate at Saturday’s English shows. Its Hindi, Tamil, and Telugu releases widened its appeal.

Global Context and Expectations

Worldwide, Superman made $217 million on its opening weekend. India added ₹31.25 crore gross to that figure, placing eighth in international markets.

The film’s $225 million budget requires more than $700 million worldwide in order to be a huge success. Early estimates project it should reach ₹40 crore in India by Sunday.

This Superman reboot marks the beginning of DC Studios’ “Gods and Monsters” era. James Gunn’s vision establishes a new tone for the DC Universe. Viewers on X term it the “best Superman ever.”
