The Hatch, the long-awaited egg hunt event on Roblox, is scheduled to kick off on July 2, 2025, at 10:00 AM PT (1:00 PM ET, 7:00 PM CET), offering a 10-day adventure before coming to a close on July 12, 2025, as announced on Roblox’s official events page.

The Hatch boasts an ambitious line-up of as many as 1,000 games, yet few titles, including Blair, My Prison, and Smoothie Factory Tycoon, have been confirmed, according to GINX TV.
Trending games such as Adopt Me, Jailbreak, and Brookhaven RP are rumoured to join, as per community leaks, but games such as Doors and Piggy have backed off as a result of recent scandals.
The games can be played through The Hatch’s event hub, which releases on July 2, where every egg takes around 1–2 minutes to discover.
Thrilling Rewards Lie Ahead
Players are able to redeem special egg-inspired rewards, such as UGC avatar accessories like the Egg Sliders, Eggcentric Elementalist Hat and Deviled Egg Horns, according to leaks posted on X.
The event adds 10 elemental themes—Earth, Water, Fire, Air, and others—to the collectibles, giving it a new spin.
Though not all rewards are tradable, they are said to take avatar customization to the next level, making The Hatch a must-have for collectors.
Controversy and Community Response
The Hatch has taken flak for including developers associated with inappropriate content. Some major games such as Pressure and Untitled Tag Game have withdrawn in response, according to tech site Beebom.
Roblox has since revoked the invitation to controversial developers such as TheOfficialTeddy and has been reviewing its vetting process.
Despite this, the scales of the incident and the community enthusiasm, fueled by the teaser of Roblox CEO David Baszuki, keep the expectation high.
