Famous YouTube joker “JiDion” Adams has said that he would effectively cease producing his regular material to devote more time to his faith. Adams announced that he will now post Christian content on a new channel called GiDeon that “points people in the right direction” in a video on his main channel. By doing this, he would essentially shut down his previous YouTube channel, which now has over 8.5 million followers.
The YouTuber said he wants to dedicate himself to sharing the gospel instead of continuing with his current career path in a video titled “GoodBye JiDion, Say Hello to…”. In the meantime, his “GiDion” channel’s “About Me” section says, “Greetings from GiDeon! I firmly believe in everything the Bible says, and my goal is to inspire others to turn from their mistress and genuinely follow Jesus. I hope that one of the films opens your eyes and draws you near to God. But whether this is true or merely JiDion pulling a protracted practical joke, his fans aren’t persuaded.
Who is JiDion?
Jidon Adams, a.k.a. JiDion, is an American YouTuber and web broadcaster. In 2023, Adams switched from running a comedy vlog and prank-focused channel to one that focused more on Christian material. A Toyota Centre security officer attempted to break up Adams’ effort to grab an autograph from the actual DeMarcus Cousins at a game in Houston in December 2021. After accusing the security officer of “taking the job too seriously,” the cousins signed Adams’s jersey. He interrupted a Harvard University biological sciences course in March 2022 in order to make a funny video. Adams was permanently banned from Twitch in January 2022 after it was alleged that he had harassed Pokimane, a Twitch streamer, and had his fans flood her chat window with “L + RATIO.” Adams revealed in April 2023 that he will be livestreaming exclusively on the alt-tech platform Rumble as part of a collaboration.
Adams declared in September 2023 that he would give up filming films in order to pursue Christianity. After removing all of his jokes and non-Christian stuff from his main and other channels the next month, Adams posted a video titled “Why I Deleted All My Videos…” and started producing Christian content on Gideon, his secondary channel.
JiDion Catches EDP445 In Another Sting?
JiDion’s prank videos are well-known. Following his “sleeping at a WNBA game” video, the WNBA recently suspended him. But in recent months, he has been posting considerably more somber stuff. Reportedly, JiDion nabbed infamous online predator EDP445 in yet another Chris Hansen-style sting last month. For those who don’t know, EDP445, a founder of the Philadelphia Eagles who is of average size, was involved in a sting a few years ago after exchanging explicit texts with someone he thought was a thirteen-year-old girl. Even though the YouTuber got away with it all in the first EDP445 incident because the matter was handled improperly, it doesn’t seem like he learned anything from that. JiDion is seen confronting EDP while dressed as a cupcake in a short teaser for an unreleased video. It seems that they were able to intercept him sending more communications using fictitious underage ploys.

After the official channel launches on the platform, fans conjecture that JiDion would move to Kick. JiDion didn’t formally declare last week that he would resume entertaining people, even though he had removed his previous YouTube videos months prior. Fans were somewhat taken aback by his conversion to Christianity and desire to share the gospel, and many were disappointed to see him discontinue his regular programming. Reactions to the news were mixed, with many debating the content creator’s precise meaning of “tame.” It appears, nevertheless, that he will no longer be producing hoax videos. The YouTuber himself called his content immortal and wanted to change that perspective about himself. The YouTuber streams on Rumble as well. Many thought the account was fake and was created by a fan but the fact that Kick validated it. This proves the fact that he is trying to expand to other platforms as well. Fans are split about screenshots of his official channel on the platform, regardless of whether he is transferring to Kick. Many shared their opinion, majority of them believe that YouTuber creates good content and can religious content as well. Some said just because pranking videos were not good, does not mean religious videos will be bad too.
